ABOUT THE DOCTOR

Certified in Functional Diagnostic Medicine, Christopher Mote, D.C.  specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of chronic health disorders, addressing the root cause of  health concerns, not just symptoms.   Through an active telephone based health consultation practice, Dr. Mote successfully designs and prescribes natural treatment and lifestyle plans that educate and empower his patients to maintain their health and well being. Typical cases with which Dr. Mote has great success  include: fatigue, depression, anxiety, constipation, diarrhea, digestive disorders including Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), PMS, infertility, insomnia, allergies, and stubborn weight loss.

In addition to over five years in private practice, Dr. Mote served as a physician consultant for BioHealth Diagnostics Laboratory, advising physicians weekly on case management protocols and nutritional therapies associated with the diagnostic interpretation of functional tests.  As a featured instructor, Dr Mote regularly educates physicians and other healthcare providers nationwide on the Functional Medicine paradigm and the in-depth clinical application of these blood, saliva, urine and stool tests for the diagnosis and treatment of chronic health disorders. Dr. Mote has also served as a featured speaker for the BioHeath Diagnositcs Laboratory, The American Naparathic Association, Orthomolecular Products Inc. and other professional organizations.

As an author, Dr. Mote published “Nutritional Efficacy: Protocols for Clinical Practice” a physician reference manual.  In addition, he created a wellness series on Functional Medicine which aired on a program for cable television. 

As an advocate for wellness in the community, Dr. Mote regularly volunteers as a lecturer on healthcare topics of interest to the public such as hormone balancing, infertility, weight loss and blood sugar control, the role of stress in disease and recovery, food allergies/food intolerances in digestive disorders

Dr. Mote earned a Doctor of Chiropractic degree and a BS in Human Biology from The National University of Health Sciences (NUHS) in Lombard, IL.  He is a member of The Illinois Chiropractic Society, The President’s Club International, and the NUHS Alumni Association.
